Find answers to commonly asked questions about Kunda Hall & Residency, bookings, availability, payments and hall facilities.
1. What can I book through the Kunda Hall & Residency app?
You can browse and book available banquet halls, bungalows and individual rooms through the Kunda Hall & Residency application, subject to availability.
2. Do I need an account to make a booking?
You may browse available venues without an account, but an account may be required to create and manage a booking, make payments and access your booking history.
3. How can I check hall availability?
Open the required hall or property and use the availability/calendar option to check available and unavailable dates before making a booking.
4. What booking slots are available for Kunda Hall?
Kunda Hall generally operates with the following booking slots:
- Morning Slot: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Evening Slot: 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM
The applicable slot will be displayed during the booking process.
5. Can I book a bungalow or room for multiple days?
Yes. Where multiple-day stays are available, you can select the required check-in and check-out dates during the booking process.
6. What payment methods are available?
Depending on the payment settings enabled by the management, the app may provide online payment through Razorpay as well as offline or cash-on-event-day payment options.
7. Is online payment required to confirm my booking?
Payment requirements depend on the payment method and booking settings configured by the management. Some bookings may require a deposit or partial payment.
8. I have paid, but my booking still shows Pending. Why?
Booking status and payment status are separate. A successful payment does not necessarily mean that the booking has been administratively confirmed. The management may need to review and confirm the booking.
9. How can I see my booking status?
Open the Bookings section in the application to view your booking history and booking details, including booking status and payment status.
10. Can I make a cancellation or refund request?
Cancellation and refund requests are subject to the applicable booking and refund policy. Please refer to the Refund & Cancellation Policy or contact the Jamat office for assistance.
11. What happens if my online payment fails?
If a payment fails, check the payment and booking status in the app. If your account was debited but the payment status is not updated, contact us with your booking and transaction details for verification.
12. Can I pay cash on the event day?
Cash-on-event-day payment may be available when enabled by the management. The applicable payment option will be shown during the booking process.
13. Is there an overtime charge?
Yes. Use of Kunda Hall beyond the allotted booking time is subject to an overtime charge of ₹300 per hour.
14. Can I take Kunda Hall property outside the hall?
No. Hall furniture, utensils, equipment and other property belonging to Kunda Hall must not be taken outside the hall premises.
15. Are hall utensils counted?
Yes. Hall utensils and other applicable items are handed over after counting and must be returned after counting.
16. Is cleaning included with the booking?
The hall should be returned in a clean condition. If additional cleaning is required, separate cleaning charges may be applicable.
17. What happens if something is damaged during my event?
Any damage to the hall, furniture, equipment or other Kunda Hall property during the event will be the responsibility of the booking party. Applicable repair or replacement charges may be collected separately.
18. Are firecrackers allowed?
No. Bursting firecrackers at or around Kunda Hall is strictly prohibited.
19. Is DJ music allowed?
No. Playing DJ music at Kunda Hall is strictly prohibited.
20. Are Haldi and Mehndi ceremonies allowed?
Haldi and Mehndi ceremonies are strictly prohibited at Kunda Hall.
21. Is throwing colour allowed?
No. Throwing colours is strictly prohibited at Kunda Hall.
22. Who is responsible for personal belongings?
Customers are responsible for their own valuable belongings, including mobile phones, wallets, purses and other personal items. Kunda Hall management is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings.
23. How can I contact Kunda Hall or the Jamat office?

24. How can I delete my account?
If the account deletion option is available in the application, you can submit an account deletion request from your profile/settings section. Certain information may be retained where required by law or where necessary for legitimate business and transaction records.
25. How will I receive booking updates?
The application may send booking, payment and other important service notifications through Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), provided that notifications are enabled on your device.
